Dauis Church-A place of Art and Spiritual appreciation

This is my first edition of my blog about my experience in Panglao Island, feauturing my trip in the side of Biking-Tawala (which is the location of the best beach in the island). To initiate a better condition in my trip, I will commence my adventure in visiting religious place which is accessible on the Biking-Tawala side.

Dauis Church is 6km away from Tagbilaran Airport or 15 min ride.
Tagbilaran Seaport has a distance of 5.7km to the Church.

Modes of transportation will be:

Tricycle: will cost 30php-70php
Jeepneys (you will ride jeepneys bound for Tawala and Biking): 8php per person
Habal-Habal: 100php
Taxi: 100-130php depending on the traffic

Preferable mode of transportation:

Jeepney, if you want a cheaper ride.
Tricycle, if you want not much expensive but privatetized ride. :)

Where to ride?

If you are from tagbilaran seaport or airport, ride a tricycle paying the RIGHT FEES found in the tariff in the respective tricycles. If no tariff found, report to the City Government of Tagbilaran for an immediate or transfer another tricycle if you want a cheaper ride.

  • tell the driver to go in dauis biking terminal near Carlos P. Garcia Museum

If tricycle, ride ahead. You lead the price, not them because they are very gold digger in prices, especially to the tourist and foreign.

The Church was recently reopened (January 2018) due to construction from the 2013 bohol earthquake.
I recommend to visit this Church which you can see one of the old Church in the Province. :)

These are the Information posted within the vicinity of the church.

Instragammable views perfect for you. I recommend you must try. :)
